The Pure Stock V-8 Shootout will be held September 22, 2007. This event will pay $600 to win! With $70 dollars to start! The field will be capped at 20 cars. All Non-qualifiers will receive the normal $40 Start money! The purse will have an increase of over $1,500 dollars, with all the monies being raised through sponsor's. Cars will time trial, the pole winner will draw a number of 3-6 to set the heat inversion. The feature will start heads up based on Heat finishing order.
On top of the posted purse there will be the following Special Awards:
$100 For The Pole Winner (Valley Race Tire)(Cars will Time Trial)
$50 For The Hard Charger (KMB Motor sports)
$100 For The Longest Tow (Taylor's Insurance)
$100 For a First Time Winner This Season At Clary's Speedway
$150 For a First Time Winner and Non Regular Competitor At Clary's Speedway
The two winners awards will be awarded accordingly. The $100 will be any driver who has won a race in the past at Clary's Speedway, but hasn't won in 2007. The $150 will be awarded if any driver who is not in the Top Ten in Pure Stock V-8 Points and has never won a race at Clary's Speedway. Blaylock Racing is sponsoring the First Time Winner's Awards!!!!
