By Tony M. Suttles

The victory was the sixth of the season for David Smith. Smith led every lap of the race and was never challenged during the feature race. Buddy Smith held the second position throughout the race but failed to maintain the pace set by David Smith. Buddy Smith finished second. Travis Knight finished third. Scott Gordon finished fourth. Gary Collins finished fifth.
Greg Carroll claimed the official victory in the Super Stock Four race. The victory was the first of the season for Carroll at the Harris Speedway plus he became the eleventh different driver to take a victory in the Super Stock Four division this season. Carroll led every lap of the race but the victory did not come easily as he was continually pressured by Tony Adair and Stacy Brock until the final lap of the race. On the final lap Adair and Brock made contact and both of them spun out down the backstretch. Joey Wiley bypassed both Adair and Brock following their spin and finished second. Jerry Oliver finished third. Todd Dill finished fourth. Robbie Atkins finished fifth.
Chris Jackson claimed the official victory in the Limited Sportsman race. Greg Dimsdale led the first eleven laps of the race with Chris Jackson pressing him almost every lap before he and Jackson made contact in turn two of the final lap which almost sent Dimsdale into the outside wall. While Dimsdale fought to keep his car under control he was also bypassed by Lamar Jordan. Chris Jackson led the final half lap of the race and received the checkered flag. Lamar Jordan finished second. Greg Dimsdale finished third. Jake McCray finished fourth. Steven Fox finished fifth. Following the race Jordan lodged a protest upon Jackson’s car. Jackson’s car was declared legal and he claimed the official victory.
Lloyd Dean Burgess claimed the official victory in the Renegade race. Burgess led every lap of the race and was never challenged for the lead position. The victory was the ninth of the season for Burgess. Jason Jolley held the second position throughout the race but failed to press Burgess during the race. Ricky Hines finished third. Jason Edmonds finished fourth. Ed Hodges finished fifth.
Dale Edmonds claimed the official victory in the Stock Eight race. Due to numerous cautions while trying to get the Stock Eight race started the competitor whom finished fifth in his heat race became the point man for a single file start. There were several attempts made to start the race double file but on each of those attempts a caution would appear and the cars would be relined with the driver whom brought out the caution going to the rear. Dale Edmonds won his heat race and started on the pole but became involved in one of the cautions and had to go to the rear. Travis Robbins finished fifth in his heat race and wound up on the pole when the officials decided to start the race single file. But due to an apparent brain freeze Robbins failed to let the flagman make the initial start and he had to go to the rear. On the first four starts Dale Chapman took the lead but each time he had to go back to the outside row and try again. Finally his car broke and he went to the pits. After Robbins went to the rear the race was finally started with Mark Blanton at the front of the field. Ricky Teems held the second position the first four laps while Dale Edmonds came from the back of the pack. Edmonds bypassed Teems on the fifth lap and went after the leader. Edmonds grabbed the lead position a couple of laps later and went on to take the victory. Teems bypassed Blanton near the end of the race and finished second. Mark Blanton finished third. Travis Robbins finished fourth. Paul Lytle finished fifth.
Blake Bentley claimed the official victory in the Street Stock Four race. The victory was the second in a row and fourth of the season for Bentley. For the second week in a row Kyle Westmoreland pressed Bentley almost every lap of the race but failed to over take him for the lead position. Kyle Westmoreland finished second. Adam Pruitt finished third. Kevin Cooper finished fourth. Billy Cole finished fifth.
Cody Ussery claimed the official victory in the Young Guns race. Hunter Eubanks led the first three laps of the race with Cody Ussery all over him. The two made contact on lap four and Eubanks spun. Both were placed in the rear. MacKenzie Norris assumed the lead with Joey Wiley taking over the second position. Norris and Wiley battled the next three laps while Eubanks and Ussery came back to the front. On the seventh lap Wiley and Norris made contact and Norris spun. Both were sent to the rear and Eubanks reclaimed the lead with Ussery taking over the second position. Eubanks led the next two laps until he slipped up in turn three and Ussery went past him and took over the lead. Once out front Ussery led the final laps and claimed his ninth victory of the season. Hunter Eubanks finished second. Wendy Smith finished third. Elizabeth Ledford finished fourth. Will Swafford finished fifth.
Willie Fowler claimed the official victory in the Pure Stock race. Fowler led every lap of the race and claimed his fourth victory of the season. Brandon Staton held the second position the first eight laps of the race but failed to pressure Fowler for the lead. Steve Penson moved to the second position on the ninth lap but by then Fowler had checked out on the field. Steve Penson finished second. Brandon Staton finished third. Chris Davis finished fourth. David Evans finished fifth.
