Despite entering its 9th season of competition the unparalleled growth trend continues, as FASTRAK continues to be the “fastest growing racing series” in the country. With over $250,000 in points fund monies available each season since 2005, one can certainly see why running a $5000 crate engine in a full blown late model just makes sense.
To secure one of these highly prolific 2012 touring events, please contact your particular region via the FASTRAK website at www.fastrakracing.com (http://www.fastrakracing.com/). Those interested may also call Bryan Haynes or Stan Lester at the FASTRAK corporate office at (678) 935-7304. FASTRAK works closely with tracks in doing pre- race advertising, promotions, TV commercials, radio commercials, flyers, posters and much more. Most FASTRAK events include fireworks, series pace truck, fan drawings, driver autograph sessions and more. FASTRAK shows are not your average race, they are exciting, competitive, and entertaining events that create and maintain fan support. Again, with such high demand, those interested are encouraged to call right away to secure a date for the 2012 season.
With only 5 cars at Winder Barrow Speedway in its debut event in 2004 the FASTRAK Racing Series has quickly and consistently grown into one of the most successful racing organizations in the history of the sport. Though Founder Stan Lester faced many growing pains in those early days, he never looked back. At the end of the first season 51 cars were at that event.
Today, FASTRAK enjoys an average of over 400 late models running each weekend at FASTRAK weekly sanctioned tracks and touring events across the country. Now you see why many call it the “fastest growing racing series” in the country. The series was originated and still today is based in the small town of 600 plus full time residents of Carnesville, GA. FASTRAK still remembers its roots are and to this day continues to build on that premises.
Keep in mind that FASTRAK pays one of the largest point funds in the world and especially in dirt racing. The City Chevrolet National Weekly Championship pays nearly $50,000 to the top 50 teams in the country. Each FASTRAK Region offers touring championship series with no less than a $10,000 regional point fund. On top of it all FASTRAK offers its teams over $150,000 for a 3 race shoot out reserved for FASTRAK MEMBERS at the end of each season.
“We know our place in the industry” said Lester. “We are not the professional series. We are the true blue collar racing series and that’s all we are looking to be. FASTRAK is branded as weekly racing and gives our teams a place to be recognized among their fans, sponsors, peers, and competitors. It works for us and more importantly, it works for them”.
FASTRAK is continuing to expand into other areas including business ventures with other series and individuals. If you are interested in a possible venture with FASTRAK or sanctioning your weekly track, please visit www.fastrakracing.com (http://www.fastrakracing.com/) and contact Stan Lester at either (678) 935-7304 or sl@fastrakracing.com (sl@fastrakracing.com)
