FAYETTEVILLE, NC – As the National Dirt Racing Association (NDRA) prepares for Dirt Wars presented by Goodyear on Sept. 9 and 10 the City Chevrolet League Championship Series is set for its final weekend of 2011.
Ron Parker is set to finish off the season just as he did last year has he has locked up his second consecutive LCS title after a dominating season that saw him reach victory lane more than 20 times at area NDRA tracks.
Steve Banal’s solid season has him locked solidly into second place in the point standings. Banal has been especially tough on the big ½ mile of Lancaster Speedway where the Pennsylvania native has racked up a number of wins.
Timbo Mangum has also shined at the legendary Lancaster Speedway this season as the hometown favorite used consistency to hold down the third place in the point standings.
Statesville, NC’s Kent Peckham strong season at Friendship Speedway has him in fourth place in the standings with Richburg, SC’s Ronnie Mosley in fifth.
This weekend will be the final chance for NDRA teams to earn points to be eligible for Dirt Wars presented by Goodyear.
