Carolina Clash Series Set to Invade Harris Motor Speedway Saturday Sept. 1st

LINCOLNTON, NC – The traveling stars of the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series are set to make their second appearance of 2007at the Harris Motor Speedway.
The first event took place on April 28th and saw hometown favorite Ricky Weeks collect his third of his five 2007 wins. Weeks led all 40 laps of the main event with Travis Pennington earning his best career finish with a second place run. Dennis ‘Rambo’ Franklin charged through the field to finish third with G.R. Smith fourth and Jeff Smith fifth.
Weeks will lead the field of drives into the event in search of his fourth straight series championship. With only four events remaining Weeks knows the stretch run will be the most important of the season. “My goal is in the last four races is too obviously to finish races. I still want to win races and I’m by no means riding but we defiantly need to finish races,” said Weeks.
Also on the card for Saturday night are Harris Motor Speedway will be a $900 to win Renegade main event along with the Street Stock, Stock Four, Stock Eight, Young Guns and Pure Stock. Harris Speedway is located 12 miles southeast of Rutherfordton just off US 221, then west to Harris
